Privacy Policy

Introduction
RV2U Inc. ("RV2U," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, use, and safeguard information about you when you access or use our mobile applications, website, and any associated services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please discontinue use of the Services.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Vehicle information — the make, model, and license plate of your RV, and any photo you choose to upload of it.
- Service information — the location of your RV, the services you request, scheduling preferences, and any photographs you attach to a request.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain only a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.
- Communications — messages you send to support, and ratings, tips or reviews you leave for a technician.
Information collected automatically
- Location data. With your permission, we collect the precise GPS location of your RV so a technician can find it. Out at the dunes there are no street addresses, so this is how service gets delivered to the right vehicle. We collect location only while you are using the app — never in the background, and never when the app is closed.
- Device and technical information — IP address, browser type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers.
- Push notification identifier. If you allow notifications, our provider OneSignal assigns your device an identifier so we can send you order updates. This identifier is tied to your RV2U account and is deleted when you sign out or delete your account.
- Usage information — pages viewed and actions taken within the Services.
Camera and photo library
Our apps request access to your camera and photo library only so you can attach a photograph to a service request or a completed job record. We access nothing else in your library, and we do not scan, index, or upload any photo you have not explicitly selected.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and manage the Services
- To dispatch technicians to your RV and let you track the status of a request
- To process subscription payments and one-off charges through Stripe
- To send you service notifications — a technician accepting your job, a proposed arrival time, completion, and billing issues
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries
- To improve the Services and diagnose technical problems
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

Data Retention
We retain your account and service history for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. Photographs attached to a service request are retained with that request's record. Push notification identifiers are removed when you sign out or delete your account.
Your Choices and Rights
- Location. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings. The apps will still work — you will need to type an address or move the map pin manually instead.
- Notifications. You can turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings. You will still see order updates inside the app.
- Access and correction. You can view and update your profile and vehicle details in the app at any time.
- Deletion. See below.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, in either place:
- In the app: Account → Delete My Account
- On the web: rv2uapp.com/delete-account.php
Deletion is immediate, not a request that waits in a queue. We remove your name, email address, phone number, RV details, uploaded photos, the addresses and comments on your past service requests, your support messages, and your notification registrations. Your sign-in stops working straight away.
If you have an active membership it is cancelled at the same time, so you are never billed again. Refunds for unused days are not automatic — email support@rv2uapp.com and we will arrange one.
We keep anonymised records of completed services (date, service area, services performed, amount) because we are required to for tax and accounting. Those records are no longer linked to your name, email address or phone number. Payment receipts held by our payment processor, Stripe, are retained under Stripe’s own legal obligations.
Prefer not to use the app or the web page? Email support@rv2uapp.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you within 30 days, usually within two business days.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to request correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@rv2uapp.com.
Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout, hashed passwords, and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version at this URL and update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated to you by email or in-app notice.
